With the theme "Feminism and Democracy", the meeting gathered in the city of Serra Negra, about 1,250 women from 28 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. The final plenary session had as highlights the reading of the manifest of young feminists, that demanded greater space for action, and also the voting on the effective participation of transsexual and transgender women, to start in the next meeting.
